Is it possible to calculate impact between two moving bodies in Mechanica?

Hi everyone.

I have worked on dynamic analysis for a single part/assembly but was curious if the Mechanica can analyse impact between two moving bodies.

Regards,

Lucky

What is Mechanica Motion?

I've heard of Mechanism, and I've heard of (and used quite a bit!) Mechanica; but this article, and another one you linked recently, mention Mechanica Motion which I've certainly never used.

Guess that answers the question.

My intention was to model an impact similar to a car crash but seems that I might need to study Sping Idealizations as per H. Mai's reply.

Lucky
