Is it possible to open multiple CAD models in one operation

Is it possible to select multiple CAD models within the file open dialog of PTC Creo to open multiple models in one operation?
I'm only able to select one model at a time.
Is there perhaps another way to accomplish the same thing?

Thank you very much in advance for any advice.

Hi,

as I know you can't do it from the open dialog of PTC Creo.

I don't know if you use Windchill, in that case you can open multiple cad models by:

- selecting files

- File --> open in --> open in Creo

Nope. It's not something they anticipated, I guess.

If I needed to open the same group of files over and over I might either

(1) Define a mapkey

or

(2) Build a "fake" assembly where all the files are loaded in the packaged condition. Then I'd only have to open the assembly and it would bring in all the bits I want. I could add or remove desired files as things evolve, too.

Apparently this is not possible using a "normal" way.
I guess the only way to solve this without using Windchill is by writing a small weblink application to accomplish this.
