Hey Folks This maybe more a Windchill Question, but I think it applies here..
We have Windchill PDMLink 9 M030 Please don't suggest an upgrade, my IT guy just laughs every time I beg for 9.1, it's not his fault. The decision not to upgrade came from WAY up the ladder, so don't bother going there.
I have an assembly in my workspace that I want to lock. I also want to lock all the subassemblies and all the subcomponents in the workspace. How do I accomplish this?
I can select the file in the workspace and hit [FILE][LOCK] - but this does not gather all the subcomponents.
I can select the file in the workspace and hit the INFO (circle I) in the workspace table. The next window pops up and I can hit [STRUCTURE], I can expand the tree to show all the subcomponents, I can click the select all box and gather all the parts. I then go to ACTIONS at the top of the page, and [LOCK] is not available.
I can't find it anywhere, what am I missing?
Is this possible?
