Looking for a way to place a table from a file on a layer.

We are looking for a way to place a table from a file and it's contents on a layer at the time of placement.

Can this be done?

Add layer rule to look for a drawing table.

Thank you for the response. We are able to do that however it adds all the tables to the layer and is not at the time of placement.

We have come up with a couple of mapkeys that might work for us.

I did not receive an acceptable solution to this issue. We are working with a mapkey that is a work around but is not all that helpful.
