Shouldn't be any limit beyond what your workstation can handle. As I recall
swapping components via interchange assemblies can get creaky slow.
I kind of wish PTC would come up with an interchange wizard that would
handle choosing equivalent references, both for parent and child assembly
references of a component being replaced. Some kind of show both components
in windows and ask the user the reselect geometry shown on the replaced
component. Once the placement references are set, the wizard should look for
equivalent references by geometric positions.
