No delete pattern option in RMB

Why would I not get the "delete pattern" option for a pattern?  It's an axis pattern.

I checked placement, it's good. Nothing related to the pattern or the component placement is failing.

I happen to have 4 patterns of the same components and none of them are offering a delete pattern option.

Alternatively, the next 4 different components are all pattern (axis pattern also) and they all offer the delete pattern option.

There are some random model errors. I don't have control over all the models, so sometimes I have to live with errors

Just asking, but are the first patterns starting from the first axis of the axis pattern? Not sure if that would make a difference. Confused too.

It's the main axis of my assembly. Generally unrelated to the location of the component. but the component is 180degrees diametrically opposite so the axis pattern saves a lot of assembly time

Is the unpattern option available for patterns where the delete pattern is not available?

Unpattern option is not available either.

If you suppress the pattern and repattern the part in the same spot does it still not give you the option to "Delete Pattern"?

You can't suppress a pattern without suppressing it's components. Seems like I can just add a new component, move it up in the model tree and pattern it. 

Fortunately enough there are only a mounting bracket and mounting hardware related so it's not a ton of work to fix.

Overall, the time it took me to do this post and test my options, I could've  fixed it and moved on, but I like a little self-induced punishment occassionally.

I removed all dependencies and tried again. No luck.

I changed the constraints from referencing geometry to FIX. No Luck

I added the same component again at the end of the model tree with a fix index (large model) and patterned that component. The delete pattern is available on the newly added same component. I moved that component up in the model tree and the delete pattern is still available.

The patterns are all based on an axis that is 5th in the model tree, based only on the default datums.

I guessing this is somehow dependent on the assembly.

Sound to me like there is a dependent reference. Sounds like the model is not set to Read Only?

Are you working in a PDMLink session? If so does it change if you go offline?

Have you tried backing up the assembly and deleting everything up to that pattern and then seeing if delete pattern shows up?

Was the pattern added with a toolkit?

Good troubleshooting suggestions @Chris3 

PDMLink yes. No read only on the top level assemblies or anything I am working on specifically. 

No toolkit stuff, all just plain-old fashioned assembly.

I deleted all "noted" assembly references and that didn't work. I used insert mode and tried with no luck.

Tested deleting everything after the pattern (including all sections), no luck.

Restarted Creo, went offline, opened master rep and hey, DELETE PATTERN is now available! I thought I had tried master rep before, maybe not...

Went back to online workspace, opened master rep, DELETE PATTERN is available...so apparently I didn't test or maybe opening the rep first, then changing to master rep didn't work, not sure. 

In any case, this seems to be associated to the simplified rep I am using. In general, this specific rep is everything, but with the internals of "others" equipment removed to make the model faster and to produce a customer drawing without propriatary internal components shown.

I had deleted and re-assembled one of the 4 patterns already and along the way discovered a separate assembly issue, so it was a good exercise in any case. Honestly, if I had gotten re-directed this morning here at work I would have already deleted everything and re-assembled.

Thanks everyone for all the help. I'm going to mark my post as the solution since it has the specific resolution but it was specifically @Chris3  post that got me to test stuff I hadn't tested previously that led to the solution.
