I am using Creo Parametric - Release 3.0 (connected) Release 3.0 and DatecodeM160

Unable to convert PDF from Creo 3.0

Hello @NC_10259806

Not enough info to provide good guidance on. Asking therefore some questions to try to isolate the issue:

  • Is it PDF or PDF U3D export attempt?
  • Is it a data specific or generic issue?
    • if "data specific":
      • this may help if you're alowed to attach impacted data for a test on our side
      • if "unable" means "unexpected exit occurs upon PDF export attempt", You'll find guidance in article 343639 to troubleshoot this further
      • If "unable" means "unexpected error is produced upon PDF export attempt", Thanks in advance to share error message faced upon PDF export attempt
    • if generic:
      • From which environment PDF export is attempted (from prt? asm? drw?)
      • Please check that you're in the scope of a supported environment, as per what we document in PTC Platform Support pages (preferability browsed in the By Partner section)

As additional information:

  1. We have no article/SPR describing generic unexpected behavior upon PDF export attempt in Creo 3.0 M160
  2. No access to this datecode personnally, but I tested a PDF export from a simple drawing in Creo Parametric 3.0 M170 starting from a supported configuration, and export process worked as expected

Regards,

Serge

It is PDF

It is Generic issue. PDF conversion attempted from "drw" environment.

Thanks @NC_10259806 ,

How issue is faced exactly? is it an unexpected exit or an error thrown when trying to produce the PDF files?

Just attaching simple movie of what was tried with success from Creo 3.0 M170 => Did you use the same menus for the export attempt in PDF?

Regards,

Serge
