SW offers different levels of certifications that more-or-less boost your resume. You can take practice tests for different areas of expertise and then when you're ready, you can purchase the certifications test. They also have general tests for overall knowledge. I have seen employers specifically ask for these certifications, so they do value them.
It would make sense for Creo users to be able to say "I can do X, Y and Z. Here are my certifications." For example, a Windchill/Intralink user can say they know what they're doing but when it comes to proving this, they may fall short of what the employer is looking for. For this specific example, PTC could offer Windchill/Intralink User, Journeyman, Expert and Admin level test that would let employers know what skillset they are dealing with.
Is there anything on the horizon for PTC offering something similar?
