PTC_WM_MODIFIED_BY

Since Windchill 10.2 the value of PTC_WM_CREATED_BY and PTC_WM_MODIFIED_BY contains a bracket with the information “(<username>:<organization name>)"

Is it possible to only have the user name displayed in text references on a drawing?

I dont' want to have what you can see in attached1, but what you can see in attached 2

Ciao Gabriele,

that is a well known behaviour comming up with Windchill 10.2 M020 (s. SPR222603). With CPS06 or M030 it could be controlled by a preference (s. CS176501).

Gabriele,

BE VERY CAREFUL when using these two parameter as it CHANGES each time a new revision of the drawing is created. We started using those 4 months ago and had to remove them from our title block because it is required to keep the original creator and date.

Now thanks to PTC, everyone has to go backwards in technology and use the dumb parameter from the Creo model that we have been using for the past decade. Their work around is adding a static parameter to the driving model, which is what we have been doing.

I have already heard that a lot of companies are in the same boat.
