Parameter storing value of PLM association to WTPart

HI everyone,

I'm using Creo Parametric v. 9. I would like to know if there is a way in which is possible to understand if a cad is associated to a WTPart in Windchill, in order to use it into an if statement in the part/assembly relations.

I could not find anything on this topic on the net.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

If a CAD document is assotiated with a WTpart the CAD document contains PTC_WM_PART_NAME PTC_WM_PART_NUMBER parameters,

But!

If a CAD document was assotiated with a WTpart but is not assotiated now - for example if it was copied from another CAD document - the parameters will remain

Thank you for your reply.

Yes, I noticed that too, in fact at first I thought I could use them, but then I realized the same thing. I searched for a way to initialize them during a new copy, but I couldn't found it.
