Parametric Part in Creo Elements/Direct Part Library

I am creating belleville washers as parametric part to be used in the part library. I have created the part and added the parametric data to it using the Parametric Module from the Advanced Assembly Module.

The library parts are create ok, the variables make the correct part. However, I cannot control the installation point. Does anybody know how this is done?

Is there a way in the Parametric Module to define the 0,0,0 of the part?

Regards

Tom

Dear Thomas,

When you create your parametric part, you should do it with the center of the washer at the point 0,0,0. Then, with the parametric module, you should create a constraint with a fixed face, preferably the one corresponding with the point 0,0,0.
