Part must become assembly, any way to save the drawing?
Hi all...
I have a part & fully detailed drawing that now must become an assembly. A particular feature on this injection molded plastic part is now going to become a insert molded metal part. I know I am reaching here, but is there a way to make the part an assembly & save the drawing? Or do I bite the bullet & detail the whole thing again?

We run into this with sheetmetal all the time. In a word, no, you're restarting. If you don't mind leaving the detail on the drawing and adding just the assembly, you could do that, but that's about the reach of what you can do.
