Persistent PTC_COMPONENT_SETS Error After Re-Inserting Assembly Model

I also have this issue. Reference topic: Parameter PTC_COMPONENT_SETS has invalid set na... - PTC Community

When I use the "insert here" trick to see when the message appears by dragging this "insert here" lower in the feature tree I managed to find out which model is giving this error. I've tried a lot but also completely remove the model and constraining it again the error appears again. This model is an assembly and within the assembly the PTC_COMPONENT_SETS message isn't shown.

The trick is that to find and control these values, you need to look at component level parameters.  From the parameter dialog, change the "look in" menu to "Component", click the arrow, and then click the desired component from your model tree.  It'll have a string parameter called "PTC_CONSTRAINT_SET", which lists the active sets separated by commas.  (In rare cases, you may need more than one active at a time.)  Inconvenient thing about changing these by family table or otherwise, is you have to type the names in exactly, there is no pop-up menu or anything that will list the options available.

I also tried this but it doesn't matter what component I select, there are no parameters shown so also the PTC_CONSTRAINT_SET isn't there.

Somebody else an idea how to solve this?

Did you look at parameters and relations at the assembly level?

Also, does the assembly have a family table?

Yes I did and don't see any strange behavior or any fault messages or remarks.

There are models with an family tabel but also have models that shows the message without family table.

P.S. I have more than 17 years experience with Creo Parametric so most of the times I'm able to fix errors but especially this one it would be nice if it gives more information than only this message...
