Pipe Curve Color

Creo 10

For non spec driven pipes, is there a way to change the color of the center curve after the pipe has been modeled? Where is the control for the curve color?

2 REPLIES 2

Hi @ShaneV

CS283660 - Is it possible to change the color or appearance of an existing thick pipe created using the Piping module in Creo Parametric explains it is not possible to change the color of an existing modeled pipe.  It also explains that the color of the pipe centerline follows the System Appearance for Curve and that to change the color, the pipe should be deleted and recreated with the desired Curve color setting.

Hope this answers your question,

Mike

This is one reason pipes should always be in subassemblies of their own, not piped directly in an assembly. You can easily change the color of the pipes by changing the color of the subassembly, and it makes managing them and generating drawings much easier.
