I am posting a program to a machine tool that does not except moves less than .0002. Is there a way that I can control the data output without sacrificing the quality of a majority of the finishcuts? Is it possible to do this in the parameters?

Hi Ronald,

You can set the linear resolution in GPOST to be 0.0002” – However, that won’t guarantee your finish cuts will be as good as it could be (Or as good the Pro/NC computed it to be) as the post will skip moves that do not fall within that resolution.

Cheers

Daniel
