Reduction of empty subassemblies when importing a STEP neutral format

Hello PTC community,

I have the following problems:

I want to import data via STEP. The import does not cause me any problems, only after the import there are always too many sub-assemblies that I do not want to have. Is there any way in Creo to eliminate these "intermediate assemblies" (See pictures).  Are there any special import profiles?

I would appreciate any suggestions and tips.

Many thanks in advance.

Hi Martin,

Thank you for your support. I still have one question, where can I find the detail descriptions for the different import profiles.

Many thanks in advance.
