So, we do a lot of sheet metal here. One gripe we all seem to have is when we place our flat pattern in the drawing, we like to use the parametric note for the bend angle. We would like to show no decimal places for the angle (currenly it shows 2 decimal places).
We would also like to move the leader arrow. Currently it's fixed on the center / mid-point of the bend line.
Can these be changed?
Paul,
Currently there is no option (default) to change the decimal place and attachment for bend note, however you can use workaround for both, as:
-- To remove trailing zeros
1. Select Bend note in drawing > Right Click > Edit Value > Copy Note from text properties and paste in notepad (e.g. ƒ {1:&benddir__}90.00 $ ) > Remove trailing Zeros > Overwrite note for bend note in Text. Note: This will apply to bend note in part as well.
-- To change the attachment location for Bend note.
1. Select bend Note > Right Click > Edit attachment > Yes on warning > Set appropriate Arrow style (e.g. Arrow Head) > Pick alternate location in bend axis > Done/Return.
