STEP Turn into surface. Double sided edge fix

Hello,

I have file from client that creo imports as surface. With IDD I found out there are a few edges that gives "Bad two-sided edge" it also gives a solution, that says use the"Merge Crv/Wfm". Where could I find this tool?

Hello Martin,

Thanks for informative reply, however, that was first thing that I did and most of the time it worked for me as well. However for this model it doesn't. When I go into geometry check it shows for me a few problems that repair doesn't fix. I usualy ignore Bad vertices, it seems creo handles them well. However other two types of problems I don't know how to resolve.

Hi,

unfortunatelly I do not know how to deal with IDD geomchecks.

Do you use commercial -OR- education license ?

What Creo version do you use ? I can test model repair in it and send you the resulting model.

Hello,

I use commercial license.

Creo 2.0 M230. This question is more about know how then the model itself, because I have a few more models like this and trying to find out how to fix them all.

Hi,

I installed CR2 M230 and followed procedure published on 2017-09-08 01:58 PM. Resulting model is attached.

Note: I hope you know that every imported model needs special healing procedure.

Could you provide more information about said healing procedure? It might be the thing I'm looking for.

Hi,

I think I provided enough details in my reply from 2017-09-08 01:58 PM
