Thank you everyone for suggestions and ideas. I guess I was away from
SHEETMETAL for more years than I thought and not clear on what it could do.
My solution turned out to be rather simple:
Flat FIRST WALL; then SECTION SWEEP to cut my funny edge around the
perimeter; then simple EXTRUDE to cut some more material from center of one
surface (as long as I clicked "normal to surface"); then a BEND-ROLL to my
specified radius.
