Servo Motor: Switching driven entity and reference identity

Hi,

I've been trying to simulate a DC motor driving a sprocket, but I have been experiencing some difficulties. I select the motion axis and assign a servo motor to it, but when I run the servo motor, the DC motor turns around the sprocket rather than the spocket turning around the DC motor. When I assign the servo motor the sprocket is highlighted in orange and the DC motor is highlighted in green, so I'm assuming my issue will be resolved if I manage to switch the highlighted colors. Does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks,

Frank

Hi

What I assume

1.First you have added the DC Motor

2.Then you connected sproket through pin connection

3.Then Added servo motor to the connection

First try to rotate the sproket manually(with drag component)

(If there is any problem then you will not get proper movement)

As per your colour there is no problem

Possible Reasons

1.Motor or its part constraining with sproket is not fully constrained(try to make it fully constrained)

2.There is problem in connection . this may happen when you modify the part after connection.(try to reconnect the sproket again with pin connection)
