Using CREO 6, it was easy to route a cable by selecting an axis for "from" and the ending axis as "to" after selecting "Allow Location" under "Options." However, as new user to CREO 8, I am unable to select any axes and have to use a coordinate system instead--usually not as convenient. Is there a way to use an axis for routing in CREO 8?

did you try to RMB -> add location on the required axis (during the routing)?

Thanks for your response. Not sure what "RMB" means? In CREO 6, any axis during initial routing was selectable, however, in CREO 8, using the same approach, unable to select an axis, on CSYSs.
Right Mouse Button click
Gaby_K, I found that selecting "allow location" under options has no real effect selecting the axis but that RMB clicking in the "To" and "From" collector boxes, or alternatively from a RMB drop down menu in the window space allows you to select an axis as required. A bit misleading is that when you select "Allow undesignated CSYSs" from Options, CSYSs light up when you hover over them, but not so for axes when you select "Allow Location." But this is working great--thanks!
