Solution ? model a rectangular to round transition

James Kasson had the correct solution. Attached is his email and a picture of the correct transition. The bottom line is both sketches are rectangles with corner fillets. Not exact, but close enough for government work, however it is missing the folds in the round portion.

It will be good enough for the sheet metal guy to make it correctly. Typically these are made in two halves and joined together.

You can also achieve this using Blend Vertex when creating your sections. Blend Vertexes let you have a different number of lines/curves in each section. In these sections there are 3 lines and 2 arcs. Then there is a blend vertex on each of the 2 straight corners and a blend vertex on the 3 arc endpoints. In total you have 5 "entities" on each sketch and only the true driving geometry.
