Strikethrough a text in proe drawing

Hi all,

I am curious to know if is there any option to strikethrough a text line in Pro-E drawing.

I checked in internet and couldnt see any solution. Wonder why PTC has not included this option along with underlining!!

Thanks and regards,

The only way I've done strike through is in tables by creating two narrow rows and spacing the text in one of the rows so that the dividing line between the rows runs through the text. Total kludge work around. I suppose you could just draw a line through text to create a strike through but you might have trouble keeping the text & the line together throughout drawing changes.

A strike through text formating option is long overdue.

Wow, what an attitude. Although I appreciate the information, the way it's delivered leaves a lot to be desired.

Please accept my apologies. That was not intended to convey an attitude - I
was simply in a hurry & didn't take time to compose a better-worded message.
Again, my apologies

Hi!

Being honest, I searched the forum and couldnt find the font. Perhaps, did not do a proper search. I am sorry.

Many thanks for the support and help.

Thanks and regards,

Ok, I've finally gotten around to consolidating this.

In the public files area of the PTC user portal site, I have posted the
following three fonts, for your download & use:

1) a strikethrough version of the default Pro/E font - authored by Glenn
Beer some years ago, and reposted with his permission

2) a modified version of the default Pro/E font, which includes a diagonal
slash on "1" (the numeral one), to differentiate it from "I" (capital letter
"i"), and top and bottom bars on "I" (capital "i"). It also includes a
diagonal slash on "0" (numeral zero) to differentiate it from "O" (capital
letter "o").

3) a strikethrough version of the modified font described in #2.

To download them, go to the PTC
<">http://portal.ptcuser.org/p/do/si/topic=66&type=0> User portal > Files >
Public Files > Configurations

Enjoy.

I might also upload them to PlanetPTC.
