Style feature curve end points

Hi all

When you attach a style curve end point to another curve/edge it allows
you to set the distance from one end of the reference you attach it to.
However, it typically uses the "wrong" end to measure from, and I don't
see any way to switch which end it measures from. Is it possible to
select either end as the reference to measure from? Or does how you
select the reference curve make a difference?

Hey Doug,

If I have understood your question correctly...the "start"of the style curve, and thus the 0 value, is determined by how the curveis create on the screen. I.E. left to right or right to left. In other words the fist point of the curve segment is "zero" and will be the end the length measurement will originate from. It's kind of a bad deal asone never knows in advance all theelements of the superfeature.

Hope it helps.

Hi

I got a couple of responses so far, both suggesting that the order of
picking the end points of the style curve is what determines which end
subsequent linked curves are measured from. That unfortunately isn't the
situation. I have pre-existing edges that I'm linking the style curve to
and it appears that there is no way to select which end is the reference.
