UK Standard for 3D data

ASME Y14.41-2003(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ASME_Y14.41-2003) is the US standard for utilising 3D data without the need for 2D drawings - anyone know what the equilvilant Europe/UK standard is?

Cheers, Sean

ISO 16792 is the ISO or European/UK equivalent (based to a great extent on Y14.41) for now.

Much of the 3D stuff will appear in the next amended release of ISO 1101 (which will appear in 2010 or 2011).

In the longer term, ISO plan for 1101 to contain all the 3D stuff as far asengineers or designersare concerned. ISO 16792 will probably continue to provide guidance for the people writing the CAD software.
