Using Auto Surface in Restyle tool of Reverse Engineering in Creo Parametric 2.0

Autosurface is a very powerful capability of the Restyle feature wherein you can create a patchwork of curves and/or surfaces automatically on an entire facet model or a part of it.

The three steps of creating an auto surface are

1)determining the scope

2)creating the patch structure

3)creating the surfaces from the patch structure

Is that we create from autosurface a b-rep surface? and is the sigle patch a b-spline surface?
