This is a repost of a thread on the Sys Admin forum... I didn't get many hits so I thought I'd appeal to a larger audience.

Is anyoneserving ProE (WF4) and Intralink 3.4 (M062) using VMWARE?

If so, are there any issues going to this model I should be aware of?

We don't, but it would be interesting to read feedback on those who do.
I would assume that the performance hit while on VM would be a
dealbreaker.

I'm not sure about WF4, but i'm running different older versions (2000 .. WF2) and Intralink clients in separate VMs for testing and certain customers.

It is OK for small projects, as graphics and CPU performance and of course memory are limited, but besides that there are no issues I have stumbled upon.
