do "Repeat region" tables in drawings apply for "pattern table" parts?

I want to - trying to? - have my part, that is the generic for a pattern table - to show up the instances in a repeat region. 

I have seen around that using mbr in repeat region, people seem to do what I am aiming at, but for some motivation - am I stupid ? - I am not able to get it running.

or  the solution is another one?
