is it possible to create a straight hook with a incorrect radius? if you look at the below image, it would come off at an angle rather straight. is it possible?

I truly have no idea what you are actually asking for. What is meant by "straight hook"? What is an "incorrect" radius? Why don't you just sketch what you are looking for or show a picture if you're trying to model something that actually exists?

We probably need these terms clarified but why can't you edit the 8.494 to 5.5?

the orignal design has the 5.5 length at an angle. i would like that straight but with the radius 2.5. i also need it to be  5.5 in height.
