how to create custom colors/layer accessable from creo 2.0 onscreen menus.

Topic: Custom color scheme and displaying custom colors on the onscreen color palette.

I would like to add our office color (layer names) to the Graphics and or in the Appearance Gallery.

I'd like to add the company colors (layers) to an existing ptc folder or be able to create a Users color / layer folder, and be

able to access and use them from Creo 2.0 on screen menus when I'm working. I'm sure or least hope there is a way

to to this but I haven't found it. I've been using PTC Pro E 5.o and know Creo 2.0 for about 2 years. I'm a little

frustrated at how un user friendly the softwar is. I've use AutoCad for 22 years and some Revit Structural and Solid works

and they are all more user friendly. I would appreaciate any direction in finding a solution. And I agree with other PTC users

out there, Give us a hard copy reference book, detailed, so we can research, book mark and find answers more easily.

You can create custom color schemes for your interface and you can make custom color palettes for the appearance manager.

Layers names may need to be developed in your template parts.
