We use Pro sheetmetal to produce the flatsthen transfer the flat geometry via iges or dxf files to the CAM software. PTC's sheetmetal CAM software is not very good for driving machines.
We use SMP/IS by Merry Mech, www.merrymech.comto drive our turret presses. The interface is a little dated but it works very well and they have great support.
We use Optimation to drive our lasers. They have great support and the tool is the best I have seen for sheetmetal nesting for lasers. They also have some good tools for driving turret presses. The interface for placing tool hits for presses is a little dated.
We have Amada press brakes and are stuck with using the Amada software, Dr. ABE BEND,to program the press brakesoff-line. The software works, but has lots of querks and the support is average, at best. Upgrades and fixes are almost non-existent.

We looked at Radan. We liked the interface but we felt that some needed features were missing in their nesting package.
All of these packages have their strengths and weaknesses only you can determine which one fits your needs the best. Pick out about 10 of your parts and have them demo their tools to you. We sent each verdor the same set of parts. One of those parts we setup tohave them do live during a web conference. They were to have all of the tooling , etc setup ahead of time to simulate how we would use the tool.
Hope this helps.
