more simplified reps

Hi all, last week i asked a question concerning simplified reps, i have another. Having created a simp ref at part level, is it possible to show it in an assembly? Thank you in advance

Yes you can, but the assembly must be a simp rep as well. Then you can substitute by rep in the menu when defining the assy rep.

thank you for the reply Eric, i just spent some time trying to do as you say, but without success, maybe i should have mentioned that the drawing view i am trying to create is a cross section, would this make a difference. regards John
