Is there a way to save personal preferences in Pro-E, Wildfire 4 (for
instance a custom background color) so it loads all the time by itself?

Put this in your config.pro:

system_colors_file C:\proe\syscol.scl

then set up your colours the way you like them and save them (#File#Save
in the System Colors window in WF5), make sure it matches the path and
filename specified in the config.pro.

Might be a good idea to place it in a location other than one of the directories installed by Pro/E; otherwise whenever you upgrade your software the color scheme will be deleted when you uninstall theprevious version. We actually keep ours on a network drive so that doesn't happen.
