planes don't highlight when a component is picked in assy tree

Hopefully there is a setting for this; I tried searching and didn't find anything.

When I pick a component in the model tree, the component/subassembly will highlight. But the planes in that component will not. Having those planes also highlight is helpful, particularly when I'm trying to see the relationship of a map part to my assembly, or to see how a component is assembled.

Is there a setting to restore this? In WF4 the planes also highlighted.
