problem- visualization of Bitmap image in Proe Drawing file

In case of suppliers drawing, suppliers gives us a pdf file. Will copy the content from pdf & create bitmap image for better clarity of drawing. Then by using menu Insert-> Object -> Create from file .. & browse the path of bitmap image. It displays the Bitmap image in drawing then we save the drawing. when will try to reopen the drawing it displays red points at middle & corner points of bitmap image border. Same drawing sometimes open on another machine having same hardware configuration. Please help to resolve this issue. Thanks in advance. Devidas

You can try setting save_texture_with_model to yes.

save_texture_with_model option is not avilable in Pro-E wildfire- 2 (M280)datecode.

Any one have solution on this issue for Pro-e wildfire-2(M280)

If it is PDF vector graphics, then a few programs can convert them into .dxf files, which can be read into a drawing. If it is a bitmap, you need to have an OLE server, such as Office 97 Access installed because PTC does not have internal software to show Bitmaps on drawings. PTC turns that job over to an OLE server - hence Insert Object. It is not inserting a bitmap into the on-screen image, just a link to a bitmap which is turned over to the OLE server to generate the on-screen image. You'll also have to use MS printer manager to get output as it is the only printer that is equipped to use OLE servers.
