[ptcuser] - How do you find a symbol that has been previously used?

MikeD, I did as you suggested because I never realized there was a Drawing
Symbol option in the search tool, and it found nothing. Thank you for
teaching me something.

Vinson, if it was in a relation some where, I would have found it using
the searches of the part, drawing or pro/program or through a show
dimension in the relations dialog, which it did not show in either.

Leonard, we generally do not use simple names for our datums, we do our
best to be specific for next user's reference, but I tried your suggestion
any how, and found that it did not exist as a datum.

Thank you for your suggestions,

One of the other users here, suggested I look in the reference dimensions,
and there it is list in the Info > Model screen as a reference dimension,
but I couldn't find it using the search tool searching for "dimensions" or
"reference dimensions" or when attempting to show the reference dimension
by feature (the old fashion way). So how do I delete it when I cannot get
a hold of it.

Thanks Ronald, but this particular part never had a pattern or any reason
for a pattern, and as I stated in the previous e-mail it apparently is an
old style reference dimension that I cannot select to allow me to get rid
of it and I also cannot find it in the pro/program.

Alright everyone it looks like it has been narrowed down to an old style
reference dimension that I cannot see or select, I can find it in the Info
> Model dialog in the reference section at the bottom, but there is no
icon for it in the model tree as the new ref dims do, and if I try it show
the dimension using the Edit > SetUp >Ref Dim right hand menus it is no
where to be found. Just before someone pops up with the suggestion of
using the link in the Info > Model dialog, I have already tried that.

Is it possible that it is a reference dimension inside of a sketch?

It is certainly possible but it would still have been selectable with the
Info > Model dialog. I believe that the ref dim was deleted before there
were icons in the model tree for managing those troublesome things, or
that the features that the ref dim was tied to was changed enough to
prevent the ref dim from being functional any more and as a result I
cannot select it or see it.

Thank you for the idea, I will see if I can find it that way, but I am
doubtful.
