removing names, etc from a file...

I am having an issue with a part file where an external piece of software (Jerand) uses a coordinate system named fp0. If I delete this coordinate system (due to a mistake or reconfiguring a part) and replace it with a new coordinate system the name will no longer be fp0 and I cannot rename it to fp0 as the file tells me it already exists (for those who know this software, this is not a case where the coord sys still exists in the generic, when I delete it, I delete it).

Anyway, is there a method of purging the pre-existing name from the file?

Incidentally, I notice that this same problem existed in 2001, went away in WF2 and has reappeared in WF4.

Hi Peter
A work around could be to rename the csys before you delete it.
