Is PTC planning to optimize the “stress linearization” option in Mechanical:
Since Proe 20.0 (2007) this option has not been touched by the technical team.
I belive (from other persons that I know that use this option) in the pressure vessel field and stress from thick solid models, this routine is very important.
Options to control the grid plot (hide the point - as example – like an enhancement tic box that can be added in the display option from the results windows definition) or the possibility to isolate a volumen (with the use of the display location option so the grid plotting is only shown in the section of interest) are important enhancement to introduce to this analysis option, so the user will have a “REAL” control over the points selections.
Could any body from PTC technical department give us their opinions..
We have been waiting since 2007 for an answer.!!!
