text/symbol marking on an assembly Creo Parametric 7

Hello,
to mark our parts and mainly assemblies (cylindrical) we use a projected cosmetic sketch but:
For 3D renderings, it cannot be blacked out
It is projected and not rolled up (ideally).
In the assembly mode, I found only by mixing with the surface but there are many functions.
In part mode, I was advised the offset function but I must not have the same version of creo because not found.
How do you make your marking? what solutions? I block

Thanks

Do you mean that you can't color the surface with a different color or you can't hide the curve outline? When you say "render" do you mean a render studio render or do you mean a screenshot?

If you are just trying to color the surface a different color check out designated area. In Creo 9 this is even easier because you can split surfaces but in Creo 7 you can make a surface on top of the surface with a designated area and color that.

If you are just trying to hide the curve you can layer it off or hide it in the model tree.
