"Are you sure....?" dialogues

Can we be treated like adults and have the option to turn off the various "Are you sure....?" dialogues, or at least default to 'Yes' with a middle click to accept.

Yet again, there are others that I wish were added. But as you mentioned, you should be able to control them in the config.pro file.

The "Are you sure...?" is nice to prevent accidental problems.  I would vote for defaulting to 'Yes', allowing a middle click to accept, as most of the time the action I took was correct and the result expected.
