We are testing the Creo View Detection Module.
We are using Creo View 3.0 MCAD
I noticed when I am performing a detection between two different assemblies (VS mode) and each assembly has a part in it that is contacting the other assembly, it shows up as an interference. We do not want this.
For example, assembly 1 has a clamp that is stacking on top of assembly 2.
The constraint can be a 0.000 distance or just simply mating on each other. The module is picking this up as a interference, no matter what settings I have tried. [in VS mode]
Does anyone have a solution for this?
I tried messing with Tolerable Peneration with no luck.
Also, it keeps reverting back to "Quick Mode" even if I select "Accurate". It says "Unable to calculate results in Accurate mode, reverting back to quick mode".
Also, If the two clamps were on top of each other in the same assembly...and I just do a basic detection module within that assembly. it does not pick it up. [Self intersect option].
If I do the "VS" option, and change the distance to 0.0001, it does not pick it up.
