MDO Gear Loads - "Use in Structure" (WF5, Creo 1 & 2)
Has anybody noticed that gear tooth loads are not available to pass to a Structure analysis when you select "Use in Structure" from a mechanism analysis (MDO)? I find this hard to believe that it’s been left out. Do any of you have a need for this functionality? I’d be interested to hear from anyone on this topic.
Thanks!

PTC recognizes gear loads are not being passed from MDO to Structure and agrees it is not proper behavior. The development team is working on fixing it under a formal SPR. I beleive the target fix will be Creo 2 - does anybody need this capability in a prior version?
Cheers

The fix for this issue is in Creo 2.0 M040, which shipped in February 2013.
