WF5 axis point

Hi,



I remember being able to place an "axis point" in a sketch to cause a
datum axis to be created in an extrude. Is this still available in WF5?
And where is it? Can this be used with external sketches?



What I really want is an axis placed at the center of an extruded
ellipse... Is there another way to do this?

Choose the point on the far left of the fly-out menu.

Simple rename on PTC's part from "axis point" to "geometry point" and a
relocation from the "sketch" menu to the "create point" icon flyout.

I've been using Pro/E for a very long time but this is a new one for me. THANKS !
I tried this technique and discovered that actually you need to select the center "point" icon on the flyout.

Thanks guys! I was thinking that there was some kind of mismatch between
modules of Pro/E. It's been a while since I have been working. IN FACT it
has been too long.



Well, at least I got to envision what it might be like to work on Pro/E
today.



The input here is rather good and I learned/remembered where that AXIS POINT
feature is.
