Answer:  Consider using these types of relations and features any time you need to vary dimensions along a sweep trajectory.  Google Trajpar for additional examples.

Question from Mark:  Sometimes it's hard to remember the difference between ctrl and shift.  Is there an easy way to remember which key to use?  Is ctrl like "addition" and shift like "alternate"?

Answer:  Think of it like they are used in Microsoft Office.  If you want to select individual geometries, use the CTRL key.  If you want to select multiple geometries, use the Shift key.

Answer:  Use a Simplified Rep for each state and reference each rep when placing the views in the drawing.
