Getting started in Asynch mode

I've written several synchronous JLink apps, but have never written an asynchrounous app (and now I find I need to, due to the way synch vs. asynch handles the RunMacro command).

 

Can anyone point me to a good "getting started" with Asynchronous mode guide? Either that or share a simple program that I can start from?
