Pro-Process [using "replace" on sub assm]

I'm having a hard time figuring out how to use replace in pro-process so I can make multiple process assemblies by recopying & renaming the completed one and just replace the sub assm that changed for the next option of my process model.

ex: completed: assembled with sub A B C

recopy and rename. New assembly is with sub A B D

want to use replace on C and put in D.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am sure copy pasting of process steps is not possible. I select the similar parts in one step. I do not know whether UDF options will help.

Hi Amarnath...

This was a very stale post from Toe Fue Yang. It dates back to August 2010 so he may have already resolved the issue.

Thanks!
