Projection of outer geometry on surface

Hi

 

I have an assembly file which has two parts. One part file is need to be projected onto other part file. Is there any way to do so using API of toolkit?

 

I have Creo 4.0 M070 protoolkit with  me.

Hi

 

Is there an option to do so?

 

Assume that my first part is of a extrude having diameter as 10 mm and length as 50 mm. What we need to have is a projection of pipe that is diameter 10 circle on part 2.

 

In second scenario, first part is of a extrude of 20*30 rectangular box having height as 50 mm. In this case, projection on part 2 should be 20*30 dimension rectangle.

 

Any thought would be of great help.
