I've got an Excel add-in that I created that used to work with CREO 4, and when upgrading to CREO 7, it now crashes both programs to desktop with no error displayed. I've updated PRO_COMM_MSG_EXE and PRO_DIRECTORY. I've run the batch files. I've tried changing PRO_DIRECTORY in case it is not updated correctly to several other options, and it throws a different error so I'm ruling that out since what I assume is correct causes the crash. Are there any tips as to what is causing the hard crash? This is occurring for several users that used to use the Excel add-in but have updated to CREO 7.
This occurs not only on code that was previously working, but also on the examples in the VB API document.
