I am in the process of buying a new version of Microsoft's Visual Studio.
PTC says you need VS version 2012 for Creo 3 Parametric Toolkit.
Does anyone here uses version 2013 (or even 2015) for compiling .dll and .exe for Creo 3? Here in Europe the 2013 is cheaper than the 2012 version. And as far as I know I have no (official and legal) chance to use 2012 after buying 2013.
For example it was always possible to compile with 2008 for WF4 although PTC recommended the 2005 version of Visual Studio.
I know that I might be able to download the Express versions from the Microsoft site and test it on my own. I want to avoid this time consuming process.
Thanks for an answer if somebody has already tested this combinations.
