Which version of Visual studio is compatible for creo 7.0.2.0?

I'm looking for compatible versions of Visual studio to customize Creo Parametric 7.0.2.0 and confused that PTC articles are telling to use Visual Studio 2019 v142 but available versions under 2019 build are only 16 and above. Is it okay to use Microsoft visual studio 2019 v16 and above? Is it fine if I go for version 2022?

For Creo 7.0.2.0 protoolkit, I am using Visual Studio 2019 with v142 and it is working fine.
